Today I have an unusual recipe for you — for many people this will be a whole new way to enjoy radish, but radish is actually just a regular root vegetable, no different from onions or carrots, and it can be fried quite successfully. The result is both unique and delicious! The flavor of radish changes when you fry it — the bitterness softens considerably. I recommend frying radish in butter, as it gives a richer aroma, but you can use vegetable oil if you prefer. To make it even tastier and more fragrant, I added bacon and green onions. This radish dish pairs well with any meat dishes or egg dishes. The ingredient quantities listed are for approximately 2 servings.
Ingredients:
- Serves 2:
- 250 g radish
- 50 g bacon
- 20 g butter
- 1 stalk green onions
- garlic
- salt, pepper
- Serves 2:
- 4 eggs
- 40 g water
- 20 g butter
- salt

How to cook fried radish with eggs
Stir-fry over high heat for about two minutes, then cover with a lid and cook over low heat until tender, about 7–10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic. The radish will change color from red to light pink — that's perfectly normal.
