These are absolutely delicious muffins with a wonderful orange flavor and aroma. You only need a handful of ingredients to make them — flour, sugar, butter, and eggs. Plus the star of the show: one large, ripe orange, which gives you the most tender, fragrant baked goods you could never find at a regular store. I really wanted these muffins to be intensely orange, so I used 150 ml of juice. I was worried they might not bake through, but they turned out perfectly. As someone who loves citrus baked goods, I am completely smitten with these muffins and highly recommend you give them a try. This recipe made 12 small muffins.
Ingredients:
- 200 g flour
- 130 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 large orange (150 ml juice + zest)
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 heaping tsp baking powder

How to cook orange muffins
Add the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar, and stir with a whisk. When making muffins, a mixer isn't necessary — no whipping needed. You can even mix everything with a spoon; I used a whisk because it's easier to stir with.
