
Ingredients:
- 500 g yeast puff pastry
- 500 g hot dogs
- 50 g cheese (optional)
- egg for brushing

How to cook pigs in a blanket
Thaw the dough and roll it out slightly lengthwise to a thickness of 4–5 mm. Cut into strips about 1.5–2 cm wide.

Remove the casings from the hot dogs. Wrap each hot dog in a strip of dough in a spiral, overlapping slightly as you go (the ends of the hot dog should peek out a little).

You can use cheese if you like. Make a small lengthwise cut in the hot dog and tuck in a little coarsely grated cheese.

Place the assembled pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Let rest for 15–20 minutes.
