
This dough for fried pies works great with a variety of fillings — for example, braised cabbage, boiled eggs with green onions, and many others. Makes 6 pies.
Ingredients:
- 300 g chicken (1 leg quarter)
- 100 g cheese
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- 1 egg
- 150 g flour + 3-4 tbsp for rolling
- green onions (or other fresh herbs)
- salt
- vegetable oil

How to cook fried pies with chicken and cheese
Make the dough. Place the flour (150 g) in a bowl, add a pinch of salt and one tablespoon of vegetable oil.

Shape the pies. Lightly flour the work surface and turn out all the dough with a spoon. Knead briefly on the surface, adding flour as needed, until the dough no longer sticks to your hands.

Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces. Roll each piece out into a thin circle about 12 cm in diameter.
