
A dish of liver braised in a blend of soy sauce and tomato paste. It has a tender texture and a pleasant, savory flavor with a light hint of sweetness. I really enjoyed the liver prepared this way — both hot and cold. I used chicken liver, but any other type of liver will be just as delicious.
Ingredients:
- 500 g liver (chicken, beef, etc.)
- 150 g onion
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp starch
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 cloves garlic
- a pinch of salt
- vegetable oil for frying
- Sauce:
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp sugar

How to cook liver in soy sauce with paprika
Cut the liver into small pieces. If using beef liver, pound it lightly with a meat mallet; chicken liver does not need to be pounded.

Place the liver in a bowl and add the vegetable oil, starch, paprika, salt, and garlic pressed through a garlic press.
