Chicken liver with apples is a slightly unexpected but absolutely delicious combination! The chicken liver, onion, and apples are each cooked separately, then brought together at the end. Any liver lover is sure to appreciate it — it's incredibly tasty!
Ingredients:
- 500 g chicken liver
- 200 g apples (2 medium apples)
- 100 g onion
- 1/2 tsp curry
- 4-5 tbsp flour for dredging the liver
- vegetable oil for frying
- salt
- pepper

How to cook chicken liver with apples
Rinse the liver, pat it dry, and cut into large pieces (cut each piece in half). Season with salt and pepper.

Cut the apples in half, remove the cores, and slice into wedges (if the apple skin is tough, you can peel the apples first).

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat. Add the liver and cook over high heat for about 3 minutes.

Flip the liver and cook for another 3 minutes. Cover with a lid, reduce the heat to the lowest setting, and cook for 15–20 minutes. Transfer the cooked liver to a plate.

In the same skillet (no need to wash it), add the onion, curry, and a pinch of salt. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
