
This batch of ingredients made 20 medium-sized potato pancakes for me. The potatoes for this dish should be starchy. If you like, you can add 1–2 tbsp of flour or starch to the potato mixture.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg potatoes
- 1 egg
- salt
- vegetable oil for frying
- sour cream for serving

How to cook potato pancakes
Peel the potatoes and grate them on the finest grater into a purée. Drain off most of the liquid that has been released.

Pour vegetable oil into a preheated skillet. Drop spoonfuls of the potato mixture and flatten into small, thin pancakes. Fry for 2–3 minutes over medium heat until golden brown.
