
Delicious, appetizing, crispy cheese sticks with a subtle hint of lemon, topped with a sprinkle of sesame seeds. These sticks make a great appetizer or snack — and they disappear incredibly fast, because it's nearly impossible to stop eating them. I ended up with 36 sticks in total.
Ingredients:
- 170 g flour
- 150 g cheese
- 100 g butter
- 100 ml milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 tsp baking powder
- zest of half a lemon
- sesame seeds for sprinkling (optional)

How to cook cheese sticks
Mix the flour with the baking powder. Add the flour to the cheese mixture in portions, stirring with a spoon each time. Then shape the dough into a ball and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Twist each strip into a spiral with your fingers, gently stretching it lengthwise at the same time. Gather the scraps back into a ball, roll out again, and repeat.
