
A wonderfully tasty fish stuffed with a filling of egg, cheese, fresh herbs, mustard, lemon zest, and lemon juice. The combination may sound unusual, but it's incredibly delicious and aromatic, giving the mackerel a truly unique character. The mackerel is baked in foil in the oven.
Ingredients:
- 1 mackerel
- 1 hard-boiled egg
- 20 g cheese
- 2-3 sprigs of parsley
- 1/2 tsp whole grain mustard
- lemon
- salt
- pepper

How to cook foil-baked mackerel
Thaw the mackerel, gut it, and remove the gills. Rinse thoroughly inside and out. Make three diagonal cuts on each side, then season with salt and pepper.

In a small bowl, combine the egg, cheese, parsley, whole grain mustard, and lemon zest. Season with salt and pepper, then squeeze in the juice from 1/3 of the lemon. Mix well.
