These gorgeous flower-shaped puff pastries are made with puff pastry and juicy pineapple rings. This recipe makes 10 pastries. I used store-bought unleavened puff pastry and frozen cherries. Feel free to substitute the cherries with any other berries you like.
Ingredients:
- 500 g unleavened puff pastry
- 1 can of pineapple rings (340 g)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3-4 tbsp powdered sugar
- Additional:
- a little flour for dusting
- 1 tbsp cherries (optional)
- egg (optional)

How to cook pineapple puff pastry flowers
Thaw the dough in advance and lightly dust the work surface with flour. Roll the dough out lengthwise to about 3–4 mm thick (roll in one direction only).

Begin wrapping the pineapple ring with a strip of dough, threading it through the hole in the center.

Wrap the ring all the way around (I ended up with 12 petals). Use the end of the strip to cover the center hole and place a cherry in the middle.
