If you prefer, you can make this ice cream using only bananas; all the other ingredients — heavy cream, powdered sugar, and lemon juice — are entirely optional. Made without dairy, this ice cream is vegan-friendly and great for fasting periods. For best results, use very ripe, even slightly overripe, bananas.
Ingredients:
- 2 bananas
- 100 ml heavy cream 10-20%
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice

How to cook banana ice cream
Peel the bananas, cut them into large chunks, and place them in the freezer for 3–4 hours until completely frozen.

Blend thoroughly. At first the bananas will break down into a crumbly, uneven mixture, then with continued blending they will turn into a smooth, creamy consistency.
