This is a wonderfully delicious dish of chicken thighs wrapped in puff pastry. It's incredibly simple to make yet looks absolutely impressive — perfect for a tasty weeknight dinner or elegant enough to serve to guests at a holiday table. Feel free to use any spices you like, but try not to go overboard — you want to complement the natural flavor of the chicken, not overpower it.
Ingredients:
- 8 chicken thighs (drumsticks work too)
- 8 slices of cheese
- 1 clove of garlic
- salt
- pepper
- spices to taste (I used a pinch of dried thyme)
- 400-500 g unleavened puff pastry
- Also:
- egg for brushing
- sesame seeds for sprinkling

How to cook chicken thighs in puff pastry
Wash the chicken thighs and pat them thoroughly dry with paper towels. You can also use drumsticks — the preparation is exactly the same. Season with salt and pepper, then rub with minced garlic and thyme (or any spices of your choice).

Thaw the unleavened puff pastry. On a lightly floured surface, roll the pastry out slightly in one direction along its length. Cut the pastry into strips about 1.5 cm wide.
