
Braised green cabbage is a delicious dish on its own, but with chicken added it becomes absolutely perfect — cabbage and chicken are a match made in heaven. The cabbage turns out tender and soft, with a rich flavor and a wonderful meaty aroma.

- 1 kg green cabbage (1/2 of a large head)
- 500 g chicken (I used 2 leg quarters)
- 2-3 tbsp tomato paste
- salt
- pepper
- vegetable oil for frying
