
A sweet and savory dish of chicken breast fillet and bell pepper braised in a thick sauce made with soy sauce and apple cider vinegar. If you like, you can add red chili pepper to give it some heat, as well as freshly grated ginger.
Ingredients:
- 300 g chicken breast fillet
- 150 g bell pepper
- 2-3 cloves garlic
- Sauce:
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 5 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or wine vinegar)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp starch
- Also:
- salt
- vegetable oil for frying
- cooked rice for serving

How to cook chinese-style chicken breast fillet
Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat. Add half the chicken and stir-fry for a couple of minutes, stirring constantly, until the pieces are white on all sides. Transfer the chicken to a plate, then stir-fry the second half of the chicken the same way.

Add the bell pepper and garlic to the skillet and stir-fry for a couple of minutes, stirring constantly.
