
Chicken with Mushrooms in Sour Cream is a stovetop recipe featuring chicken breast fillet and cremini mushrooms. The dish tastes very much like a mushroom julienne, just without the cheese and without baking in the oven. It comes together pretty quickly and makes a delicious chicken and mushroom meal for lunch or dinner!
Ingredients:
- 500 g mushrooms (I used cremini mushrooms)
- 300 g chicken breast fillet
- 100 g onion
- 100 g sour cream
- 1/2 tbsp flour
- 1/3 tsp nutmeg
- vegetable oil for frying
- salt
- pepper

How to cook chicken with mushrooms in sour cream
Boil the chicken breast fillet for 20 minutes from the moment the water comes to a boil. Let cool slightly.

Add the mushrooms, stir, and cook for about 15–20 minutes until the liquid that forms has evaporated.
