The key rule for Greek salad is that all the vegetables should be cut into fairly large pieces. It's best to use red or sweet salad onion, as it's milder (I used salad onion). A classic Greek salad of course calls for feta (the traditional Greek cheese made from sheep's milk), but to keep things more accessible you can use brined white cheese instead — it'll still be absolutely delicious.
Ingredients:
- 400 g tomatoes
- 300 g cucumbers
- 100 g bell pepper
- 100 g onion
- 200 g feta or brined white cheese
- 1 can pitted black olives
- 3 tbsp. olive oil
- salt
- pepper

How to cook Greek salad
Cut the cucumbers into large chunks (I first sliced each cucumber into rounds about 1 cm thick, then cut each round into 4 equal pieces).

Cut the tomatoes into large chunks as well (I cut each tomato in half, then cut each half into 4 equal pieces).
